New Military Booster Amplifier For SINCGARS Only
Now Available From AR Modular RF

Bothell, WA - 5/3/06 - A new SINCGARS-only version of the well-known KMW1030 booster amplifier is now available from AR Modular RF. The new model KMW1032 has the ability to boost the output signal of a SINCGARS VHF Tactical Radio transceiver up to 20 – 30 watts, helping to maintain communications in even the most demanding conditions.

The new SINCGARS-compatible unit is a portable, lightweight, waterproof, fully automatic band-switching RF booster amplifier. It covers the 30 – 108 MHz frequency band using filters to assure acceptable harmonic distortion levels.

The KMW1032 is Mil Std 461E Compliant. It includes voltage spike suppression, RF sensing, T/R switching, automatic level control, automatically switched harmonic filters, and protection against antenna mismatch and over-temperature. The unit can be operated from two BA5590 batteries or vehicle power.

The KMW10302 is part of a complete family of booster amplifiers designed for man-pack or vehicle-mount use. Based on one common, battle-tested platform, the KMW1030 family of multi-band booster amplifiers includes automatic and manual band-switch models with frequency ranges from 30 – 512 MHz and the ability to boost output signals from 5 watts up to 20 watts. Higher power models are also available up to 40 watts.
