AR Modular RF Expands Wireless Broadband Offerings With New 50-Watt / 3.4 – 3.7 GHz Amplifier

Bothell, WA - 4/30/07 - AR Modular RF has once again added new power options for the wireless broadband network. The newest offering, Model CMS1080, is a solid-state, latest generation LDMOS power amplifier module that meets WiMAX (802.16) specifications.

The 50-watt, 47dBm linear power amplifier module covers the 3.4 - 3.7 GHz frequency range. It has a scalable gain of 30 to 50dB and can be modified to meet various OFDM and NPR requirements. The amplifier is protected from thermal overload, over power, over voltage and wrong voltage polarity and contains an internal isolator.

Model CMS1080 is part of AR’s extensive new family of power amplifier modules for wireless applications such as CDMA, HDTV, WiMAX, and more.
