The Deepwater modernization program is the largest recapitalization effort in its history. Upgrades like the AR-75 “Tactical Booster Amplifiers” will enhance these state-of-the-art flagships and will play a vital role in fulfilling primary missions in counter-terrorism, maritime homeland security, and overall mission performance. The upgrades focus on stepping up the communication capabilities and extending the communication range. A number of AR-75 “Tactical Booster Amplifiers” will be installed on each cutter.
